As someone proud to serve the LGBTQIA+ community, I love seeing our towns come alive with events that bring people together, support local queer voices, and highlight the inclusive spirit of our neighborhoods.

Evanston Pride Youth Car Parade + Picnic

Saturday, June 15 | 11 AM – 3 PM
Kick off the day with a youth-led car parade through downtown Evanston. The celebration continues with a community picnic at Ingraham Park featuring music, games, and food trucks. It's family-friendly, fun, and full of joy.

Wilmette Pride Walk

Sunday, June 23 | 10 AM – 12 PM
Join neighbors and allies as Wilmette hosts its second annual Pride Walk along the Green Bay Trail. This casual walk is a great way to show your support while enjoying one of the North Shore's most scenic spots.

Highland Park's Queer Art Walk

June 1 – June 30 | Downtown Highland Park
All month long, explore local businesses displaying artwork created by LGBTQIA+ artists. It's a walking gallery that weaves creativity, visibility, and community support throughout the city.

North Shore Pride Drag Brunch at Farmhouse Evanston

Sunday, June 30 | 11 AM – 1 PM
Close out Pride Month with sparkle and sass at this fan-favorite event. Grab your brunch besties and enjoy performances by some of the area's top drag entertainers. Tickets sell out fast—don't miss it!
